About Firfirey

Firfirey (फिरफिरे) means wanderer. It is software for people planning Nepal and for the local businesses that host them.

Draft pending legal review

This text is a working draft prepared for review by a qualified lawyer in Nepal. It will be updated before Firfirey opens payments to the public.

What Firfirey is

Firfirey is software made by Nepfex Innovations Pvt. Ltd. It is a platform that connects travellers with independent tourism businesses in Nepal. Travellers use it to read about places and treks, plan day-by-day trips, and send requests to hotels, trekking agencies, guides and activity operators. Those businesses use it to manage their listings, requests and day-to-day operations.

What Firfirey is not

Firfirey is not a travel agency or tour operator and holds no tourism licence. Treks, stays and experiences are provided by partner businesses, which hold their own licences. When you send a request, the business that provides the service replies and confirms on its own terms. We never show a booking as confirmed unless the business has confirmed it.

How Firfirey makes money

[To be confirmed by the owner: for example subscription or software fees paid by partner businesses, or a commission on confirmed bookings.] Travellers do not pay to browse or to send requests.

How we write about Nepal

We use primary sources where we can (the Nepal Tourism Board, the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation, the Department of Immigration, UNESCO) and show a review status on guides and treks. Rules and fees change, so always check the official source before you travel. If you spot a mistake, tell us.
